Gayle Kabaker is an illustrator, painter, designer and filmmaker living in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts with her husband, artist Peter Kitchell, and their two children Max and Sonya. Max is a photographer and Sonya is a professional musician - the creative genes are strong!
She began her career as a fashion illustrator in San Francisco. Gayle now works for a wide range of clients doing editorial & advertising illustration; her floral paintings are also popular posters and giclees. A prolific artist, her work has an emotional, colorful and playful quality that lends itself to high end pattern and textile design along with many other products. Gayle has a large catalog of designs to chose from and she is always happy to work closely with clients to fit a project to their particular needs.
